Make-up on actor John Leguizamo as the 'Lamp Genie', he is the more charismatic of the two genies that John played in the film. The make-up is more complex than it looks. He has a bald-cap and a five piece prosthetic make-up. Special stamps were made up to align the tattoos for the purpose of continuity but they were then all hand painted with tattoo inks. We also had to cover a large tattoo that John has on his right arm. We applied a false, pierced nipple and an earring, we then did a body make-up to tan down the colour of his body.

Moustache and beard followed, then contact lenses and teeth, with long black fingernails being last of all. We also made the same actor up to play his fat relation the 'Ring Genie'
